Bio:
From Galway, Ireland. I studied Science in University College Galway. My subjects were physics and mathematics. I joined the Franciscans in 1975. I was ordained in 1985. I have served as teacher, chaplain to hospitals, confessor.
I became friendly with Shaun Edwards of Rugby League fame. He became coach at London Wasps Rugby Union and I became part of the scene there. The highlight was winning the Heineken Cup in 2004. 
I am stationed in Athlone. I have become interested in using spirituality as a way of healing. This is the background to all of my books.
General Information:
I am interested in Rugby Union, football, quantum mechanics, relativity and the theories of cosmology.

Cry Me a River : Mary’s Tender Tears

I visited the shrine of Our Lady of Syracuse in Sicily. It showed Mary’s compassion for the poor and the ill. I had friends who were suffering and I wrote the book for them so they would not feel alone. One of my friends was Eileen Dallaglio, who lost a daughter tragically. She found the book a great consolation. Tragically, she had cancer at the time and she passed away later in that year.
