Part 1 - The Book of Eight Part 2 - The Book of Five
People often debate whether there is a God. This to-the-point essay delves into an even more important topic: Why you should love God. It includes five compelling reasons (1. It's what you were made for, 2. You need it, 3. He loves you, 4. He is worth it and you can trust him, and 5. You will regret that you didn't) as well as a sixth section on ways to get to know God, as well as a list of resources....
Does God exist? It is a question every person is faced with. However, the real question is not whether God is. Even the devil knows that God exists. The question that matters is not, “Do I believe in God?” but “Do I love Him?” The following pages lay out several reasons why everyone should love him. Knowing the love of God - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - and loving our fellow human beings through that love, is what every person was made for. It is what you were made for. It is your birthright and your destiny. Whatever you believe now, you deserve to know this truth, even if it is a truth that is often ridiculed, buried, and ignored. Christ suffered, died and rose again so that we might know the truth and he instituted the Catholic Church as the place where the truth is to be found. ...

Like a dumb waiter he drops, searching for further purgation. A birthing breed of angel vision blooms in the ashes of his cataracts. The secret world within unfolds as his inner light ignites. “Rozamunda”, is the first story in a series At the Crossroads. Events presented here are not necessarily true, but almost possible. Everything depends on the imagination of the reader. Those, who do not believe in anything, will not like this book and it is directed not to them. But someone who has at least partially awakened imagination, can understand what is going on without asking questions. Such readers I appreciate the most and to them At the Crossroad is dedicated. Stories will appear free of charge, every month or so, until the end of the book. I cordially greet all readers. Author ...

Journey to the West is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. It was written in the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty and attributed to Wu Cheng'en. The novel is a fictionalized account of the legendary pilgrimage to India of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang, and loosely based its source from the historic text Great Tang Records on the Western Regions and traditional folk tales. The monk travelled to the "Western Regions" during the Tang Dynasty, to obtain sacred texts (sūtras). The bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin), on instruction from the Buddha, gives this task to the monk and his three protectors in the form of disciples — namely Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing — together with a dragon prince who acts as Xuanzang's steed, a white horse. These four characters have agreed to help Xuanzang as an atonement for past sins. Journey to the West has a strong background in Chinese folk religion, Chinese mythology and value systems; the pantheon of Taoist immortals and Buddhist bodhisattvas is still reflective of Chinese religious beliefs today. Enduringly popular, the tale is at once an adventure story, a...
The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. Set in the Kingdom of Denmark, the play dramatizes the revenge Prince Hamlet exacts on his uncle Claudius for murdering King Hamlet, Claudius's brother and Prince Hamlet's father, and then succeeding to the throne and taking as his wife Gertrude, the old king's widow and Prince Hamlet's mother. The play vividly portrays both true and feigned madness – from overwhelming grief to seething rage – and explores themes of treachery, revenge, incest, and moral corruption....

Calendar symbols of one sort or another occur on a surprising variety of monuments, both of early and late periods. The most important of these monuments for the study of the workings of the calendar system in detail are certain remarkable picturebooks or manuscripts, made on folded strips of deerskin, or on paper made of the fibre of the maguey (Agave americana). These manuscripts are usually spoken of as "codices." Only a few of these native manuscripts survived the introduction of European civilization into America. Those which were preserved were taken to Europe as curiosities, and often preserved through mere luck. The ones still extant have received a great deal of attention since the early part of the last century. All but a few of the originals are still in Europe, and are at the present time considered priceless....

Mr. Vinycomb has in these articles aimed to give his readers a practical dissertation upon the modes of execution, rather than upon the history and classification of styles in the production of book-plates; and in this he has certainly departed from the beaten track, and has furnished a very concise and clear account of the various processes by which our book-plates are produced and reproduced, and the numerous and ingenious methods of manipulation resorted to in their manufacture....

This genuine sci-fi artifact comes from another world and is a companion piece to the Skyraco ePulps. This souvenir collectable is a must-download for any Skyraco fan across the Earth. The Skyracos Dicta was compiled from the notes of Ozgood Price, the first and most famous Skyraco. He meant for it to act as an operational guide, a code of conduct, a credo, a list of virtues, commandments, prime directives, and most importantly, a method for survival. Now, long after his untimely demise, the Dicta is a part of every recruit's training manual and Ozgood's words continue to inspire new generations of Skyracos. It's often quoted by the high-flying heroes during their adventures in Zoland System. Some can hear the voice of Ozgood within the words of the cryptic code while others inevitably see what they want or bend the messages to meet their needs. You may even discover something about yourself once you look inside......
