The representative of FAG said that his orgzri:zation was greatly interested in the problems of echinococcosis/hyda+idosis and taeniasis/cysticercosis and offered that.al1 appropriate field projects executed by FAO:could be made available for such purposes as the collection of data, samples, etc. Their training programmes in for example meat hygiene, slaughterhouse management, contribute greatly to the complex preventive and control measures directed against echinococcosis/hydatidosis and taeniasis/cysticercosis.
