Summary
Witches, vampires and other spooky things that go bump in the night haunt Avery’s imagination and investigation in Dick Goes the Bank; a fast-paced, suspenseful novel. Avery’s thrown a bone with some meat left on it when his erstwhile friend and former colleague Jersey Briggs recommends him for an assignment with the World Bank. People are falling ill and dying in rural Romania and the Bank’s being blamed for the so-called plague ravaging the countryside. It’s up to Avery to sort out the wheat from the chaff in this wry medical adventure.
