M-Z Alphabetical Index of the Will to Power of Nietzsche according to book index with comments and interpretation on each index. دسته بندی موضوعی مطالبی که نیچه در یادداشتهای مختلف و پراکنده در باب یک مسئله خاص بیان داشته است. این کمک می دهد که همه مطالب در یک زمینه خاص در یکجا کنار هم بیایند و خواننده بتواند تصویر بهتری از دیدگاه نیچه در آن مورد خاص بدست آورد.

کتاب اراده معطوف به قدرت شامل 1067 یادداشت نیچه است که خود از چهار کتاب تشکیل می شود. نیچه در این کتاب نقطه نظرات خود را به شکل دسته بندی شده و مرتب ابراز نداشته است بلکه هر یادداشت موضوعات مختلفی را در بر می گیرد که در باب هر موضوع تنها به یک جنبه از آن موضوع اشاره شده است. اینست که اگر کسی بخواهد نقطه نظر نیچه در باب موضوع خاصی فرضاً اخلاقیات morality یا ابرمرد Overman یا بشر Man یا هر موضوع دیگری را بداند باید این موضوعات را در یادداشتهای مختلف جستجو کرده کنار هم قرار دهد تا به جمعی از نظرات نیچه در باب آن موضوع پی ببرد و در نهایت به درستی متوجه گردد که حرف نیچه در باب آن موضوع چیست. ایندکس الفابتیک اراده معطوف به قدرت که در دو جلد انتشار یافته است این کار را برای محققان ساده می سازد. به این معنا که ایندکس وار تمام نقطه نظرات نیچه را به صورت الفبائی دسته بندی کرده و پشت سر هم آورده است. من این کار را به دو شکل انجام داده ام یکی به شکل تفصیلی است که همین دو جلد است. در شکل تفصیلی من هرکجا نیچه در هر یادداشت به موضوعی اشاره کرده است کل آن یادداشت را آورده ام. یک دلیل این کار آنست که صحبت های نیچه همه به هم ارتباط تنگاتنگ دارد بعضی وقت ها از هم تفکیک ناپذیرند و صحبت در مورد یک موضوع یا مفهوم یا واژه را باید در کل مطالبی که در آن یادداشت آورده شده است درک کرد و فهمید. اگر عبارات، جملات و پاراگراف ها هر کدام مشخصا به موضوع و مطلب خاصی اشاره داشت می شد در این ایندکس الفابتیک فقط همان نقطه نظری را که به لغت مورد نظر ایندکس مربوط می شد آورد که چون فعلا در این مرحله برای من میسر نبوده است کل یادداشت را آورده ام. این امر موجب شده است که حجم کتاب خیلی زیاد شده است. جلد اول حدود 2500 صفحه و این جلد هم احتمالا همان حد یا بیشتر از آن خواهد بود. اگر میخواستم هر دو جلد را با هم ادغام کنم و یکجا یک ایندکس الفابتیک A-Z ارایه دهم کتابی به اندازه 5000 صفحه می شد که فکر می کنم از نظر چاپ و تکثیر مشکلاتی را بوجود می آورد و کتاب خیلی سنگین و قطوری می شد. اینست که آن را به دو قسمت A-L و M-Z در دو جلد آورده ام.
