Ο Κωνσταντίνος Νίκας είναι Αξιωματικός του
Πυροσβεστικού Σώματος.
Είναι διπλωματούχος Πολιτικός Μηχανικός Ε.Μ.Π., πτυχιούχος της Σχολής Ανθυποπυραγών της Πυροσβεστικής Ακαδημίας και κάτοχος M.Sc. στο Σχεδιασμό και Κατασκευή Υπογείων Έργων (Ε.Μ.Π.).
Είναι μέλος των ελληνικών ομάδων έρευνας και διάσωσης (USAR) με τον ρόλο του Πολιτικού Μηχανικού (Structural Engineer) και συνεργαζόμενος με την ομάδα έρευνας και διάσωσης της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας (UKISAR).
Είναι καθηγητής στην Πυροσβεστική Ακαδημία και μέλος του Ευρωπαϊκού Μηχανισμού Πολιτικής Προστασίας (EUCP) ως Τεχνικός Εμπειρογνώμονας (Technical Expert).
