John Leet
GeneralInfo
Bio:
Born and raised in the southern tip of Africa during Apartheid, John wrote stories for his friends and printed them on the school photocopier. The stories were always controversial, ranging from race issues to the supernatural, but spread hand-to-hand.
John wrote his first novel in 1997, My Secret Family, about a group of college students plagued by their disorders. When the internet arrived John discovered for the first time that his stories had migrated overseas and were quoted in textbooks and blogs.
After graduating college, John worked in Tech and Finance, but wrote more novels about the plight of the homeless (Savage Children), as well as high-tech trading (DarkPool), and many short stories for magazines.
John still lives in Africa with his 2 dogs, who are sometimes his first test audience.
