This is a story about the man who calls himself Shipwreck. He epitomizes the spirit of the poet Flavio Eborenze Didako Piro whose grave was dragged into the sea after the earthquake in the town of Herceg-Novi (Montenegro) in 1667.This historical event is rendered into a journey of the soul in order to find ultimate peace.
Perhaps the sky above is nothing but a piece of sail left to us to be seen from a giant ship that sails beyond. To our eyes it stretches from one horizon boundary to another. If this is so, there isn’t enough sky. I’d love to ask for more. Or, perhaps, Shipwreck already told me more than I could know.
