PREFACE A cumulative handbook of the resolutions and decisions of the World Health Assembly and the Executive Board has been published at intervals since 1952. The first definitive volume of this Handbook of Resolutions and Decisions - published in 1973 as Volume I - covered the years 1948-1972 and the second - published in 1985 as Volume I1 - the years 1973-1984. This third edition of Volume I11 covers the years 1985-1992; it brings up to date and supersedes the second edition, published in 1990.
