I. INTRODUCTION Technical Discussions on Balance and Rclcvancc in Human Resources for Health for HFA/2000 were held on 8 and 9 September 1W2 under the Chairmanship of Dr Somsak Chunharas. The agenda and annotated agenda, as approvcd by the Regional Committee (SEA/RC45/5 and Add.1) and the working papcr for the Technical Discussions (SWC45/17) formed the bask for the discussions.
