Excerpt: An alphabetical listing of the companies participating in the program. When applicable, the name of the parent company, controlling organization, or selling agent precedes the name of the subsidiary, division, or plant. In most cases, the plants, subsidiaries, or intracorporate divisions of complex manufacturing facilities are in their alphabetical sequence following the name of the parent organization. Similarly, alphabetical sequence is followed in listing the plants in a divisional group as arranged by industrial management for planning purposes. The descriptive terms used to designate a plant conform to the usage customary in the enterprise listed, such as company, division works, mill, plant, etc.
