JOINT FAO/WHO EXPERT COMMITTEE ON BRUCELLOSIS Third Report The Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Brucellosis met m Lima, Peru, from 9 to 14 October 1957. Dr W. Mr.S pink ~ ra,s elected Chairman ; Dr A. W. Stableforth, Vice-chairman : and Dr T. B. hiicCullough, Rapporteur. At the inaugural session, in the Sala de Sesiones of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance, the Director-General of Health, Dr Julio Mufioz Puglisevich, welcomed the Committee to Peru, spoke of the importance of the problem of brucellosis in Peru, and presented to the Committee, for consideration in its deliberations, a number of questions on technical aspects of brucellosis control.
