EXECUTIVE SUMMARY A WHO team asfiessed the Papua New Guinea Pharmaceutical Supply System in August 1986. Since 1950 Papua New Guinea has succeeded in developing, maintaining and financing a pharmaceutical supply system which provides continuous access to a limited range of essertial drugs, of acceptable quality and at reasonable cost, tailored to each level of health care.
