Introduction: Under the IETF rules, each year ten people are randomly selected from among eligible volunteers to be the voting members of the IETF nominations committee (NomCom). The NomCom nominates members of the Internet Engineering Steering Group (IESG) and the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) as described in [RFC 3777]. The number of eligible volunteers in recent years has been around 100.
