Description
Il giornalino di Gian Burrasca is a novel settled in Tuscany (Italy). It was written by Vamba (Luigi Bertelly’s pseudonym) in 1907 and published in 1912. The first edition was published on instalments by the newspaper Il Giornalino della Domenica , between 1907 and 1908. The protagonist, Giannino Stoppani known as Gian Burrasca, writes the story as a diary. His nickname, given by Giannino’s family because of his restless behaviour, has become proverbial, in Italy, to indicate a terrible boy.
