Today we are going to learn how library patrons can access books, articles and other resources, from the World eBook Library, for viewing on an Android tablet or Android mobile device. To get started, you will need Your Android tablet or Android mobile device An internet connection or data service And an eLibrary card for the World eBook Library Let’s begin: If your institution gave you a direct link to the library, skip this part of the tutorial, otherwise go to the library by typing ebooklibrary.org into your browser. Now, open the menu and select Sign In. From here you can enter an offsite access code provided to you by your institution or enter your username and password and tap “Sign In” After you log in, the homepage of the World eBook Library will load. Your homepage may look different than this one but all of the information in our tutorial still applies. Before we talk about downloading books, let’s investigate some of the discovery tools available to patrons on the homepage. First, our eBook Finder. This is a great tool for finding interesting resources quickly. Simply type in a search term and tap search. We also have a collection of video tutorials, like this one, taking you step by step through many of the useful features of our library. Also, you will find a variety of collections hand curated for academic use. Such as our Sacred Texts, Classic Titles and many more. The Author’s Community is a collection of contemporary titles from independent authors all over the world. Now, let’s get started: If you would like to browse for a book, simply select the books tab from the main menu. This will take you to the “Academic Research Collections page.” Select any one of our collections to continue browsing for a book. On the other hand, if you are looking for something more specific, you can search for it using the eBook finder tool. Today, lets search for the famous theoretical physicist, “Albert Einstein”. The eBook finder tool will help make author title and article suggestions based on the information entered If you see something of interest, feel free to select it, if not, continue with your search. This brings us to the search results page which includes eBooks, articles and other resources. You can filter through the type of resource you’re looking for by using the Refine Your Search bar located on the left side of the page. When you find the resource you’re looking for, tap the resource image or title to load the “book details page.” The book details page provides information about your book, such as author, publisher, file size, and the collection your book belongs to. As you can see, your book has already opened and is ready to read now. By tapping here, you can translate the text into other languages, like french. The tabs here contain author title and subject information relevant to your book in the form of encyclopedia articles These articles are supplied by World Heritage Encyclopedia. We have also provided collections of other books related to the book you are reading now . World eBook Library gives you several options for saving your ebook including Google Drive and Dropbox,
