Summary
This story tells of a princess in an improvised kingdom where their treasure was long-ago stolen by a dragon. Since none of the princes who tried to recover it succeeded, Mattie sets out to slay the dragon, but then when they meet, she instead befriends it and succeeds with tenderness and love where violence has failed.
