I am a retired academic and spending some of my time writing free material for students and anyone else who might be interested. So far these consist of articles, eBoooks and videos. The videos are about Japanese culture and are posted online at Vimeo; the articles and eBooks are about how to improve your study methods or economics - I worked and published in both these areas while teaching at university.

Other than academia I have followed a few life paths for a period, including working for the  United Nations and being a musician in the British army.

I enjoy computers, writing, cooking and travel.
