Bio:
Born and raised in Germany, Ursula Tillmann immigrated as a teenager to Canada and studied journalism in Calgary, Alberta. She worked for Canadian and German newspapers for over twenty years, focusing on politics, history, investigative journalism and human interest stories. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, she reported extensively about changes in eastern Europe. Ursula Tillmann received several awards for writing, photography and poetry in both English and German. Her newest publication (May 2017) is the suspense thriller "Plato in the Mountains, It's All Greed to Me". Ursula Tillmann has also published a selection of her poems (Gone to Gemaris - Spaceless poetry) as well as two photography books, and her novel about postwar Germany (Undressing Shadows). A Canadian citizen, Ursula Tillmann lives in the Rocky Mountains.
