Immunization coverage is the proportion of individuals in the target population who have been immunized. In this module, you will learn how to evaluate immunization coverage by conducting an immunization coverage survey. An immunization coverage survey is a survey of smaU numbers of individuals to determine their immunization status. It includes visiting homes and examining immunization records. This is done in a systematic way so that only a small sample of homes needs to be surveyed in order to obtain valid results for a larger population. The coverage survey will tell you about:
