Description
Excerpt: Abstract: This report presents a technical analysis of the NOx emissions impacts of increases in cetane number brought about through the use of diesel fuel additives. The purpose of this technical report is to provide information to parties who may be evaluating the value, effectiveness, and appropriateness of the use of cetane improver additives. It was originally provided to the public in draft form so that interested parties could comment on the methodology, assumptions, and conclusions. Where deemed appropriate, modifications were made to the report on the basis of those comments. This technical report is now being released in final form.
