BHUTAN-A jolnt Govemment/WHOJUNICEF revlew of the Expanded Programme on Immunlzat~on (EPI) and selected aspects of pnmary health care (PHC) actlvitles was conducted from 15 May to 7 June 1985 The team vrnted 9 of the 18 dlstncts and camed out a study of the programme actlvitles, including diarrhoea1 dlsease control (CDR) at all levels. An EPIICDD sample survey In EPIsperational areas of Chlrang Disrnct was undertaken, using the standard EPI cluster survey methodology, together wth famlly interviews on PHC, rn order to estimate coverage wlth EPI vaccines as well as darrhoeal morb~dlty and treatment rates.
