Summary: Opening Administrative Matters. The Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC) Designated Federal Official (DFO), Joe Corrao, serving as moderator of this meeting, called the ASAC meeting to order at 12:02 pm Eastern time. In opening remarks, Mr. Corrao noted that public notice of this meeting, dial-in procedures, and directions to obtain a copy of the Freight Assessment System Working Group (FAS-WG) report were published in the Federal Register on April 13, 2005. Mr. Corrao summarized the agenda, outlined conference call procedures for this public teleconference meeting of ASAC, and called the roll. The list of ASAC members and public participants attending this meeting is attached at Appendix A.
