Description
The Halophytology intends to be a new approach in the field of botanical sciences. This holistic approach is the study of plants adaptations in relation to saline environments. The integrative anatomy is described in this book as the tendency to integrate harmoniously anatomical structures with ecological, functional , adaptive or even phylogenetic values in halophytes. The author' intention is to integrate structure with function and to provide complex explanations of several anatomical features in halophytes. The main contribution of this book is that it promotes two new concepts in Romanian botanical literature: halophytology and integrative anatomy.
