According to an Anti-Defamation League survey, Greece ranks among the top anti- Semitic countries in the world, with 69% of Greeks experiencing some form of negative feelings towards Jewish people. I see many articles trying to explain the causes of Greek anti-Semitism. They all offer long and silly explanations, and since I happen to be Greek, and I happen to know the real causes, I would like to make a contribution on the subject and explain the roots of Greek anti-Semitism. I believe that the causes of anti-Semitism are very similar in all European countries, and I hope that by explaining the situation in Greece, I will help other people understand the true causes of anti-Semitism in their countries too. I am not saying that there are no differences across various European countries, but I believe the main reasons
