Description
In our routine life we often use words like command, teaching, etc., but we can understand these words only after an enlightened one reveals its actual meaning. What is commanding speech like? 'You don't have to eat potatoes. Take a vow that you will never eat potatoes. You will have to do like this.' It is in the form of an order. Whereas speech which is in the form of teaching will make one understand, 'To not eat potatoes has following benefits. If you eat potatoes then it will harm you as follows.' It will make one understand all the benefits-harms of any particular thing, then whether to do it or not is upto you. Whereas speech of the Omniscient One which is in the form of ‘Deshna’ differentiates between Self & Non-Self. His speech reveals the principles behind the reality of all worldly things without any contradiction. Still the 'Omniscient One' never becomes the owner of his speech; he is always in the state of his Self. Such was the speech of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan!
