مقدمة اللجنة العلمية بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم (شهيد باخمرى) ضمن قافلة الشهداء الذين قدّموا تضحياتهم في وقتٍ عزّ النصير لمبدأ الحق واستطاعت هذه القوافل أن تمر من أوسع أبواب التاريخ لتطبع بصماتها على صفحات الخلود. كانت ثورة إبراهيم بن عبد الله بن الحسن المثنى إحدى الملاحم العلوية التي ورثت ثورتها من كربلاء الفداء، فقد كان النظام العباسي الذي رفع شعار الرضا من آل محمد قبيل ثورته ليستقطب بذلك قلوب الناس، يتمرد اليوم على مبادئه وعهوده وليجعل آل محمد عرضة للتهميش بل للمطاردة والتنكيل، وكان حظ أهل البيت عليهم السلام من هذه المطاردة الشيء الكثير، وكان بنو عمومتهم الحسنيون يمتلكون من تلك المطاردة حظاً وافراً كذلك، إذ لم ترق لأبي جعفر المنصور هيبة العلويين وهيمنتهم على قلوب الناس ومشاعرهم، خصوصاً بعد فاجعة كربلاء، ولم يجد العباسيون هذه المكانة لدى الأمة بل العكس حيث تعاملت معهم الأمة على أنهم غير جديرين بالقيادة وآل علي مبعدون، مما أثار حفيظة العباسيين للانتقام من العلويين أولئك الذين كتموا مشاعرهم حفاظاً على سلامة الأمة الإسلامية من التأزم لولا عمد العباسيين إلى تصفية خصومهم، مما أضرم حماسة الثورة لدى الحسنيين خصوصاً ليتخذوا موقف الانتفاضة على العباسيين الذين بدأوا بتصفيتهم فكانت الثورات العلوية الخيار الأخير لمجموعة انتهت من تصفيات الأمويي...

Over the "canal" was a bridge. When I sat on the bridge, I could reach the water with my feet. It felt like soft caressing when the water glided past.
