Description
After forty years of studying the Bible and reading ancient writings, I noticed two things. First, the Bible must be true because of proofs within the text and the natural world around me. Secondly, there is a lot missing. I read hundreds of books and spoke with thousands of people. Now I see how we got to this point.

Summary
This is how the Christian Church got started in Rome and what happened to the disciple's religion. This is how the Church developed through time and different cultures as the people and the politics required. As the Christian Church changes, it retains many suspicious and forbidden trinkets and traditions from the distant past. It turns out, the New Testament did not really usher in a new religion. The New Testament writers were referring to a preexisting one that already had a name.

Excerpt
That a Roman name was used to describe a Jewish religion is not the surprising part of the history. The really surprising part is they turned it into a Roman religion. The reason the word 'Christian', Χριστιανος, caught on at all, is soon after the disciples were killed there were no more Jews left in Jerusalem. It was an all Roman city.
